We are glad we ignored all of the bad reviews of this product, because we have been using ours 5-6 times a week! My three-year-old loves to help choose ingredients, mix them up, and taste the results of his "creations". He has become a much better eater, and doesn't have to wait 30-45 minutes for meals! Breakfast has become a breeze and allows extra time getting out the door in the morning. My husband comes home eager to try new things I've whipped up for him! Not all recipes in the book are good, but you learn quickly how to adjust and add little extras of your own. We've been using ours for a month now and have had no problems with the Teflon flaking, I believe, because we never scrub it down and deep clean it. We do use spray every time, and only wipe it down with a damp paper towel. A great purchase for busy families- highly recommended!
