I've never been a fan of Pop-Tarts; but I am a fan of chocolate cake with vanilla icing, so based on the rave reviews here, I decided to give this flavor a try. I'm not saying these are the same as a delicious devil's food cake with white icing; but, if you crave that particular flavor combination and find it hard to satisfy it with most inexpensive treats, you may love these Chocolate Vanilla Creme Pop-Tarts as much as I do. I tried one right out of the box and it was good. Then I tried a frozen one; and, WOW---delicioso! Although I wish the cake part was more of a devil's food flavor, rather than milk chocolate flavor, these definitely calm the chocolate cake w/ white icing craving. I should try one after heating it, but, at this point, I'm hooked on them frozen. BTW, buying them via Subscribe & Save means they cost only $0.23 per pastry---($22.34/96=$0.23). What on Earth can you get for 23 cents that tastes that good!?! Thank God they're so good frozen because, at 200 calories per pastry, you'll want to stick 'em in the freezer and eat them as an occasional treat. But, oh what a treat! Enjoy!!!
